Jen & Todd are both educators, travelers, antiquers, beer brewers & wine makers (amongst other things). With so many wonderful and interesting hobbies, I knew their wedding would be filled with interesting and personalized visual touches that really illustrated them as a couple throughout the day. It also didn’t hurt that they have talented friends and family who helped with paper decor, fabric details, amazing garden settings and wonderful music. When everything comes together like this on a gorgeous summer afternoon in August, it makes for an incredibly special wedding day. I felt so lucky to be a part of it!
I’ve never seen a bride and her father have so much fun walking down the aisle!
A gorgeous, sun-filled ceremony under the beautiful trumpet vine arbor in Jen’s father’s backyard garden.
I loved all their great vintage finds. The details really added to the uniqueness of their wedding and reflect Jen & Todd as a couple.
A handsome, happy groom, a claddagh ring and a cold beer on a summer porch. Not bad Jen!
Getting a little artsy with the reflections in the pool…
The favors were jars of honey from a local apiary and beeswax candles shaped like beehives. Honestly, every little detail reflected the couple getting married and their thoughtfulness towards their guests.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Higgins! We had a wonderful time being a part of your special day and wish you a lifetime of happiness!
