I have known Cassandra since I was a teenager as her sister, Nessa, is one of my closest childhood friends. Cassandra has always been beautiful, intelligent and creative, so when she contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was so excited. Not just because I knew I would get to photograph a really cool wedding for two gorgeous people and lots of unique decor and lovely details, but also because I am so very happy that Cassandra has found her perfect partner in Aaron, her fiancé. Lucky me – I get to capture the love!
While Cassandra & Aaron were home visiting the east coast last summer, we had a great time taking their engagement portraits in some of our favorite South County, Rhode Island locations. A rustic stone moongate in Kingston, a lovely farm in Matunuck and finally, the rocky shoreline of Narragansett. These are all places we spent time throughout our childhoods in Rhode Island, so it was very special to make them part of this exciting time for the couple and the settings for their fun and romantic portraits. And of course, their sweet pup, Stella, had to be included for some images as well.
I had such a wonderful time creating a unique and romantic engagement session with you two, and can’t wait for your wedding in September. xoxo
So beautiful! So many much gorgeous light!
They are all beautiful, but I LOVE the close up black and white one in the Adirondack chairs. Perfection!
WOW!! These are amazing, Susan. And I agree about the one with the Adirondack chairs — it captures them perfectly.
Thank you SO much Susan for taking these awesome photos! They will bring us joy to look at for the rest of our lives. We can’t wait to see what happens for the wedding session!
Thank you! My job as a photographer is always made easier by clients like Cassandra & Aaron who get into the fun of a session and are just naturally affectionate and beautiful 🙂
