Nicole and Tomas were married at the Springhouse Hotel on Block Island, a charming island located just off the coast of Narragansett, Rhode Island. Their wedding day was one of those perfect, later summer days we get here in New England, with deep blue skies, warm breezes, bright sunshine and no humidity! They were the lucky recipients of Mother Nature’s blessing, and honestly, I can’t think of two people who deserved it more.
Family and friends traveled from great distances to witness and celebrate this beautiful couple. During the hilltop ceremony overlooking Block Island Sound, Thomas’ three children joined the newlyweds for a sand ceremony in which each member of their new family poured their own color of sand into a glass vase to represent the loving, combined family they now make. After the couple exchanged their vows, friends and family danced late into the night in the open air tent. It was an amazing celebration I was was honored to be a part of it.
Congratulations Nicole & Tomas! I had so much fun at your wedding, and feel so lucky to have been able to play a role in your celebration! I wish you all of the very best!
