Newport, RI is one of my favorite places for wedding and engagement photography. There are so many beautiful settings for photos – from picturesque coastlines to historical architecture – and great places to begin and end sessions so that my couples have even more places that become meaningful to them and special places to revisit on anniversaries, etc.
Jill, Dan and I began their engagement session at Forty-One North in downtown Newport with a cocktail and portraits overlooking the Bowen’s Wharf marina, and then moved along Ocean Road for some remote coastline settings, eventually ending our session at Castle Hill Inn. While there, we were treated to an amazing September sunset! When all elements come together like this – a wonderful couple, great weather, gorgeous settings and sunsets – it makes me even more grateful for what I do for a living and also what I can provide to my clients.
