For the last 5 years the hard working staff at South County Tourism Council has put together the annual South County Bridal Show held in early in January at the local landmark, The Towers, in Narragansett, RI. The show is a collection of many of southern Rhode Island’s most talented wedding vendors gathered in one beautiful location for the day, ready to meet with brides planning their weddings throughout Rhode Island and southern New England. I’ve been participating since the event’s inception and have had the opportunity to meet with brides and couples who may not have found me otherwise. At this show, I’ve met couples who first became clients, but I now consider friends. It’s always a pleasure to catch-up with my fellow vendors as well. Over the years, we’ve created professional relationships that have developed into friendships which I treasure. And unlike some of the larger bridal shows that can be a bit overwhelming to brides already amazed at the amount of choices and decisions that are involved in wedding planning, The South County Bridal Show is capped at a size that makes it a more intimate event, creating an environment that makes it much easier for brides and vendors to truly connect.
A lovely, delicate bouquet by Flowerthyme florist and bridal party fashions from Melissa Ashley Brides.
Delicious desserts and appetizers from The Coast Guard House Catering.
A unique centerpiece arrangement by Weedweavers of Wakefield and a photo of my favorite assistant, my handsome husband, Chris, standing with my Susan Sancomb Photography display table.
Beautiful framed wedding blessings and invitations were displayed by Scribe of East Greenwich.
Wedding cakes and mini cupcakes from Patticakes bakery in Wakefield, my new favorite! The cupcakes were amazing.
One of my 2012 brides, Alyson Devaney, receives a free hand massage from the experts at Spa Mosaic. Makes me want to run right out and get a massage…
A funky boutoniere by Weedweavers Florist.
yummmm…… tomato soup shooters and mini grilled cheeses from West Bay Gourmet.
I was drooling over the wedding accessories that Melissa Ashley Brides had on display.
