Colby & Bridget both work incredibly hard, so when it’s time for relaxing, you can find them on their boat off the coast of Rhode Island and Connecticut, or enjoying country music and dancing at The Mishnock Barn. So, when we were planning their engagement session, I suggested we begin at a historic New England farm setting to begin with (complete with gorgeous old stone walls) for a country vibe, and then oceanside in the dunes at Nappatree Point in Watch Hill, Rhode Island for sunset images. Bridget’s parents used to bring their boat into the salt water pond behind Nappatree Point for summer family fun and beach time throughout her childhood, so it’s a place that holds many special memories for Bridget. We could not have asked for a more beautiful night and I think the photos below say it all!
Since the couple has chosen Shepherd’s Run Vineyard in South Kingstown, Rhode Island for their wedding venue, I encouraged them to choose locations that would compliment, but not repeat, their wedding day setting.
I am so excited to capture your celebration in 2022, Bridget & Colby!
