It was another beautiful, sunny autumn day in Newport, Rhode Island for Chrissy & Steve’s wedding at The Regatta Club on Goat Island. The couple also wanted to include photos at IYRS (International Yacht Restoration School), set amongst the wharfs off Thames Street, since boat building and sailing is such an important part of Newport’s past and present. The combination of old brick, old wooden boats and industrial settings provided us with photography backdrops that were sensational and unique and full of patterns and texture. Their ceremony at the Regatta Club was held right on the water, with views of the harbor, schooners and iconic bridge in the background. As the couple exchanged their vows, filled with laughter and sentiment, seagulls wheeled in the skies above them and gentle ocean breezes blew through the tent. The newlyweds and their family and friends celebrated under a clear, star-filled sky with the chill of October settling in. All was cozy and light under the tent as Chrissy & Steve and their guests danced the night away in celebration. It was a fantastic day and I loved being able to capture it for them!
Congratulations Chrissy & Steve! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day!
