Set amongst the wooded forest and pine groves of western Rhode Island is the beautiful Alton Jones Campus and the Whispering Pines Conference Center. It was the perfect location for Heather & Brian’s wedding as the couple loves to be outdoors, hiking and geocaching. In fact, their love of geocaching made little appearances in their wedding day – Heather’s gift to Brian was a tie clip with the GPS coordinates of their first date and their wedding ceremony locations stamped into it. Brian made sure to leave his private written vows to Heather in a cache she had to find in the room in which she got dressed for the wedding.
Bottom’s UP!
Heather & Brian did not want to see each other until the ceremony, but they prepared private letters for each other that they shared separated by a door in the main lodge. Since they are avid geocachers, Brian secretly hid his letter in “cache” form for Heather in the room in which she was getting ready, behind the framed illustration of a squirrel (see first image in this blog post) so she had to search and find it in order to read it. His thoughtfulness and was so touching.
Congratulations Heather & Brian! It was a pleasure to be a part of your beautiful wedding day!
