After closely watching the hurricane forecast potential for their wedding day (and it was a close one), Kate & Corey’s wedding day dawned clear and bright and they had a picture perfect September afternoon for their celebration. Immediately following their first look at the edge of the ocean, Kate & Corey chose to exchange private wedding vows, surrounded only by the wildflowers in the nearby dunes. It was a beautiful, emotional moment and one I wish my husband and I had thought to do. They also exchanged vows in a ceremony lead by a minister, on Kate’s parents’ lawn with close friends and family gathered with the ocean in the background. After enjoying an open air cocktail hour, the newlyweds and guests dined and danced under a tent decorated with gorgeous flowers and warm strings of banquet lights.
