Kelsey & Jason’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. Late April in southern New England can be tricky. Unpredictable at best. Personally, I refuse to take the ice and snow scraper out of my car until May just incase we get a late season storm. But on Kelsey & Jason’s wedding day the sun was shining and warm spring breezes drifted across the Mystic River. They were surrounded by family and close friends on the green grass of the North Lawn at the Mystic Seaport as they exchanged their vows. Absolutely perfect for two people who love being outdoors so much to be able to have the natural elements all around them as they made their promises to love and honor each other for a lifetime.

Having had the opportunity to take engagement portraits of Kelsey & Jason last spring, I knew they would be a joy to photograph and be with on their wedding day. But honestly, that doesn’t begin to describe the kindness and warmth with which they treated each other and everyone else in attendance at their wedding. They were a true pleasure to photograph and get to know and made me grateful yet again that I get to meet so many wonderful people through my photography.
