Lauren & Ben were married on a day that happens so rarely in New England – brilliant, blue, cloudless skies and warm, dry breezes. Add to that an exceptionally sweet couple and a gorgeous setting and you have Lauren & Ben’s wedding day. It couldn’t have happened for a nicer couple. I loved being a part of their special day and enjoyed every minute of it.
Lauren brought her Father’s family Bible and one of her Mother’s favorite old books to have with her which made perfect accessory props!
Ben had written a letter to Lauren for her to read just before they saw each other for the first time as bride & groom. It brought tears to all of our eyes it was so sweet.
Lauren and Ben chose to see each other before their wedding ceremony, so we set up a “First Look” moment near the lighthouse on Goat Island.
I had to include these two photos in my blog post as I think it illustrates the benefit of having a second shooter at a wedding. You can see that my assistant and I were shooting this photo of Lauren & Ben exiting the church at almost exactly the same moment, but from two different angles.
I have to give a big shout out to the three groomsmen who were first timers at “sparkler art” and yet helped to create some really amazing, fun and dramatic images for the newlyweds!
Congratulations Lauren & Ben! I loved capturing your wedding and wish you all the happiness in the world!
Beautiful photography!!
