I remember when I first met with Lauren to discuss the details of her wedding day at the beautiful Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol, Rhode Island. She opened up her wedding planner to show me some of her ideas, but it was actually more like an amazing sketch book filled with swatches of fabrics and photos that all coordinated and looked more like a romantic art journal. Of course, this makes sense as she and her fiance, Josh, are both artists and work in the fashion world in NYC. To see all their choices come together so beautifully on their wedding day and get to be the photographer to capture it was a true pleasure.
Lauren’s Monique Lhuillier dress was so beautiful I couldn’t stop photographing it! However, it was even lovelier on Lauren.
Lauren had the coolest and most blinged-out wedding nails I have seen!
Such a lovely bride! And absolutely amazing eyes.
I love the little details that couples sneak into their wedding day. They help infuse the day with extra meaning.
Josh had Lauren’s name stitched onto his shirt cuffs.
Josh and his brother, his best man, head to the ceremony tent to await Lauren’s arrival.
Prior to exchanging their vows, the minister asked Josh & Lauren’s grandparents and parents to pass the couple’s wedding bands and bless them. I loved this!
The cedar trees behind The Cove Cabin provided the perfect wind break and some soft light for a romantic moment for the newlyweds.
Congratulations Lauren & Josh – we loved being a part of your beautiful wedding day and wish you all the best in your marriage!
