I had an amazing time photographing Stephanie & Nick’s wedding. These college sweethearts met their freshman year at Middlebury and have been together ever since. On a picture-perfect August afternoon, they finally said their I do’s in Stephanie’s home state. The day began at the funky, contemporary loft-style hotel NYLO in Warwick for getting ready. I have to day, it is a very cool environment for photography in the guest suites and the lobby lounge space. Afterward their meaningful and lovely ceremony at St. Peter’s Church, we left for the reception at Aldrich Mansion. It was my first time photographing at the gorgeous mansion on the water in Warwick Neck, and immediately became one of my favorites! The mansion is situated on a hill overlooking Narragansett Bay with beautiful views in every direction. At the base of the hill is the old boat house, a stone building with wrought iron details and covered in ivy which is very picturesque and was perfect for their wedding party photos. Then Steph, Nick, their family & friends celebrated into the night back up at the Mansion as the sun set and lights across the water twinkled in the background.
