Stephen’s was raised in Gales Ferry, just up the street from the beautiful and historic Nathan Lester House & Farm. Walking trails, gardens and a beautiful open meadow surround the historic farmhouse, built by Nathan Lester for his bride in 1793. Its natural setting was perfect for the couple that wanted something a little less traditional and more natural for the ceremony and celebration. The amazing traditional, celtic band that played throughout the ceremony, entertained their guests with a contra-style “square dancing” (for lack of a better term) session in the meadow after dinner, and then back inside the tent as the sun set. It was such a beautiful and unique celebration that fit them so wonderfully. The newlyweds were filled with gratitude for the sunny summer day and all of their friends and family that traveled from near and far to celebrate with them. It was a true pleasure to be with such kind, grateful people and capture an important day in their lives. Congratulations Margaret & Stephen!
