After capturing the wedding of Arianna’s parents, Danielle & Matt, two years ago, Danielle became a dear friend. I am always excited to hear life updates from my wedding clients about new home purchases, job changes and pregnancies. So when Danielle called to tell me she was pregnant with their first child, I was truly ecstatic! Sweet little Arianna arrived this spring and is just as adorable as you would expect her to be. She is a precious little peanut adored by all in her family and anyone else lucky enough to meet this sweet baby girl. Of course, I felt extraordinarily lucky to be asked to photograph her, at the hospital when she was merely hours old and then again when she was one month old. When I look at this images of her delicate skin, tiny eyelashes and peaceful expression, it makes me marvel at the freshness of the little people we create and our immediate love for them, many times even before they are born. I know her parents were already worrying about whether they would be good parents – a mark of very good parents already!

And just like that, Daddy tucked little Miss Arianna into her car seat and she became very relaxed. Arianna, next time we are going to take lots of photos in your car seat!
