Dianne & Carl’s wedding will be held in Newport, Rhode Island this fall, so they wanted to have their engagement session in New York City, to reflect where they met and currently live. I met them on what was a perfect spring day for a photoshoot in NYC. We began their session at a gorgeous and historic restaurant in Greenwich Village (where Carl proposed to Dianne on her birthday) One if by Land, Two if by Sea. There was a little, private garden space off of the restaurant that provided us a great location for some portraits. Then we headed to the Brooklyn Bridge Park on the Brooklyn side of the bridge. That immediate are a has a nice neighborhood vibe and is a spectacular place to watch the sun set behind the skyline of Manhattan and enjoy the view of the historic bridge arching overhead to the city.

Chris and I had a great time with you two and can’t wait for November!
