Each season’s light has its own beautiful quality. Autumn light is still warm, but the sun is starting to lower, and the light is bouncing around in a more colorful landscape of brilliant fall foliage. Colors pop, beams of light flair through tree branches and leaves. As a photographer, it’s the obvious and subtle we look for and try to capture. When I am shooting weddings, I am concentrating on capturing the special moments, emotions and beauty of my couples and their guests, while capitalizing on available light. Peter & Justine’s wedding at Linden Place in Bristol, RI was the perfect illustration of all of these elements. A beautiful couple, warm, sunny autumn day all in a gorgeous, historic setting in coastal New England. Throughout the day, we photographed the couple getting ready, seeing each other for the first time, celebrating with family and friends and exchanging vows in the most beautiful variety of settings that captured all of the textures, landscapes and architecture that is the essence of Bristol, RI.
