I love all four seasons here in Little Rhody, but living in New England means we get to experience some absolutely stellar autumns, with gorgeous weather and foliage. Additionally, the light in September and October makes for fantastic engagement sessions, particularly in more natural, organic settings. Erika & John wanted to hold their engagement session in South County, close to where they will be married in Narragansett next year, but at locations they will not have time to visit on their wedding day. The couple brought their two sweet dogs, Maple & Boomer (boxer & boxer mix – my heart was exploding!), so we captured engagement and family portraits all in one session! I immediately felt so comfortable with Erika & John. The more we talked, the more I realized how much they have in common with my husband and I. Basically, they are the much cooler version of us 😉 Once you make a connection like that, the session becomes more relaxed and the poses more comfortable, intimate and honest. I am thrilled with the images we were able to capture for Erika a& John, and I think they will be too!
I had such a great time with Erika & John during their engagement session, and can’t wait for October 2020 to be a part of their wedding celebration!
