Priya & Rajiv met while attending graduate school in Boston and knew very quickly how perfect they were for each other. They had each found their soul mate and now wanted a beautiful celebration to make their commitment to each other official. And what better location for such a grand day than Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island?

Priya’s fun, friendly and kind outlook is infectious and she impressed me with her excitement and gratitude about their wedding day despite the rain pouring down outside. She and Rajiv stressed to me early on the importance of being able to spend time with their treasured family and friends – that while photographs of them were important, it was not the focus of their day. And true to their word, they made sure every guest in attendance felt welcomed and appreciated.

One of my favorite parts of their reception was the group flash mob dance that immediately took place – bride & groom included – after the newlyweds’ first dance. They pulled it off seamlessly and it looked so fun to watch it made me want to throw down my camera and join in! Luckily for all, I did not 😉 That dance, and DJ Valentina, set the tone and brought the energy the event needed to keep the dance floor packed all night.
