As my husband and I drove into historic Bristol, RI to photograph the New Year’s Eve wedding of Jessica & Paul, the light rain ended and the most beautiful afternoon emerged, perfect for a lovely winter wedding.
We couldn’t have asked for nicer people to spend such a special evening with. Everyone was feeling the love as these two childhood friends united families that already felt joined.
We also had the company of many talented vendors as we all celebrated the beginning of Jessica & Paul’s marriage and the beginning of a new year for us all.
I love the addition of seeded eucalyptus to Paul’s boutonniere.
I understand why many couples choose to wait to see each other for the first time at the ceremony location, but I love when couples plan a “First Look” moment. It’s still special when they get that first glimpse of each other, just more private. Plus, they can talk to each other, admire, hug and kiss!
The space that Jessica & Paul created for their ceremony was magical, warm and romantic.
Congratulations Jessica + Paul!
May your New Year’s Eve celebrations always remind you of your amazing wedding night!
