If you’ve never been to the Roger Williams Botanical Gardens, I suggest you make the trip. All of the beautiful, lush, tropical plants and vegetation made for the most amazingly vibrant and colorful wedding day setting for Roberta & Jeff. Roberta is originally from Brazil, so a colorful wedding that reflected her tropical homeland was very important to her.
Their first look took place at a beautiful bridge with wrought iron railings that made me think of historic European gates. After some photos of the soon-to-be-newlyweds alone, we headed over to the Botanical Gardens for photographs with the wedding party before the ceremony. There was no shortage of gorgeous nooks for intimate photo settings, beautiful light and colorful decor everywhere! Jeff & Roberta’s happiness and love was infectious and it made my job of photographing them a true pleasure.
I loved Roberta & Jeff’s attention to detail. Every place setting had a vintage tea cup filled with a sedum. The tables were set with beautiful bottles and vases in various colors & opacities and flowers that were as colorful and varied as the tropical plants in the Botanical Gardens themselves. Their vision of a colorful, tropical, summery environment truly came to fruition with the help of Blissful Events and Weedweavers florist.
Congratulations Roberta & Jeff!
